Job Title: Executive/Sr. Executive – Data Analyst

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will support the organization’s data and reporting needs by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to generate meaningful insights. This role is ideal for candidates at an early career stage who are keen to build strong analytical skills and work closely with business teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

· Collect data from multiple internal sources.

· Clean, validate, and standardize datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

· Maintain structured data files, trackers, and databases as per defined formats and guidelines.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly analytical reports for internal stakeholders.

· Perform basic exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, variances, and anomalies.

· Support senior analysts in building dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.

· Assist in defining metrics, KPIs, and data points required for business reporting.

· Conduct comparative analysis (period-on-period, target vs actual, trend analysis).

· Document data definitions, assumptions, and reporting logic for transparency and auditability.

· Respond to ad-hoc data requests from business teams in a timely and accurate manner.

· Support automation of recurring reports using Excel, BI tools, or other reporting platforms.

· Ensure data confidentiality and comply with internal data governance standards.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong foundation in MS Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables, data validation)

· Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and metrics

· Familiarity with SQL / Power BI / Tableau / Google Data Studio is an advantage

· Logical thinking and problem-solving mindset

· Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy

· Ability to communicate insights clearly and concisely

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Commerce, or related fields
