We’re looking for a creative writer who can craft engaging Malayalam content that reinforces our brand, educates our audience, and drives traffic and engagement.

Role Overview

As a Junior Malayalam Content Writer, you will create compelling, accurate, and culturally-relevant written content in Malayalam. You’ll work with the content and marketing team to deliver blog posts, website content, social media copy and other materials aimed at our Malayalam-speaking audience. You will help maintain brand voice, ensure consistency and engage our target readers.

Key Responsibilities

• Research topics relevant to our business, especially for the Malayalam‐speaking market.
• Write blog posts, articles, website copy, landing pages, email newsletters, and social media posts in Malayalam.
• Translate or adapt content from English to Malayalam as needed while preserving meaning, tone and style.
• Proofread and edit your work (and sometimes others’) for grammar, clarity, style and cultural relevance.
• Work with SEO guidelines: include keywords, meta descriptions, alt text, headings, etc., to improve discoverability.
• Collaborate with designers, developers and marketers to ensure content aligns with visual and functional elements.
• Stay updated with trends, news and best practices in Malayalam content space and digital marketing.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple content pieces simultaneously.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Malayalam literature, journalism, communications, marketing or similar.
• Excellent written and spoken Malayalam; strong English skills are a plus.
• Proven writing ability: shareable writing samples in Malayalam (blog posts, articles or social content).
• Familiarity with digital content formats, CMS tools (WordPress, etc.), basic SEO (keywords, backlinks, meta tags).
• Ability to research, adapt tone, and write for different audiences and platforms.
• Good time-management, attention to detail, and willingness to receive feedback and iterate fast.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms and analytics is beneficial.
• Creativity, curiosity and a strong desire to grow in a content/marketing career.
