Junior Consultant Obstetrics and gynaecology

Role Overview: Motherhood, a leading specialty hospital chain in India, is looking for a full-time Junior Consultant specializing in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for its units in Electronic city and Whitefield, Bengaluru. As a Junior Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to provide medical care to women with gynaecological and reproductive health needs. You will work closely with patients at every stage, from diagnosis to treatment, ensuring a patient-centered approach and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for high-quality care delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Examine and diagnose patients with gynaecological and reproductive health conditions. - Assist in labour and delivery care, ensuring a safe and dignified birthing experience. - Perform minor procedures such as ultrasounds, pap smears, and other surgical interventions. - Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. - Collaborate with senior consultants, nurses, and other medical staff to deliver seamless care. Qualifications: - MBBS, MS/MD in OBGY with MD/DNB/DGO in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. - Proficiency in diagnosing and treating gynaecological conditions and managing antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care. - Experience in clinical procedures related to obstetrics and gynaecology. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient-centered care and counseling on reproductive health. - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team for holistic patient care. - Commitment to medical ethics, continuous professional learning, and evidence-based practices.
