Junior Chemist Pharma

You are a Junior Chemist Pharma who will be supporting the R&D and process development team in conducting synthetic chemistry experiments, optimizing processes, and scaling up pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs. Your role will involve: - Conducting laboratory-scale synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs under supervision. - Maintaining accurate experimental records, observations, and results in lab notebooks. - Assisting in process optimization, reaction parameter studies, and supporting analytical teams. - Following safety protocols, maintaining lab hygiene, and handling chemicals responsibly. - Coordinating with senior chemists for scale-up trials and technology transfer activities. - Contributing to report preparation and documentation as per internal guidelines. Your qualifications and skills required for this role are: - Education: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry - Experience: 1-3 years Technical Skills: - Good knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry techniques. - Familiarity with purification methods such as crystallization, distillation, and column chromatography. - Basic understanding of analytical techniques including TLC, HPLC, GC, NMR, and IR. Soft Skills: - Strong attention to detail and data integrity. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Eagerness to learn and contribute to process development activities.
