Junior Architect

You will be responsible for assisting in designing and integrating plumbing systems into architectural layouts while ensuring compliance with industry codes and client requirements. Your key responsibilities will include preparing architectural layouts with coordination space for plumbing services, collaborating with plumbing engineers for seamless integration of systems, reviewing plumbing drawings and schematic designs, and coordinating between architectural and MEP teams to resolve design conflicts. Additionally, you will be updating and maintaining architectural plans, conducting site visits if required, and supporting senior architects in preparing presentation drawings and reports. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent and possess at least 2 years of experience in architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and knowledge of Revit is considered a plus. A basic understanding of plumbing systems and their architectural implications, along with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, are essential. Good communication and teamwork abilities are also crucial for this position. You will be expected to maintain project documentation, ensure designs comply with relevant codes and regulations, and use software tools like AutoCAD and Revit for design and documentation purposes. Exposure to MEP coordination practices, familiarity with local building codes and plumbing standards, and the ability to work under guidance and meet project deadlines are preferred skills. A willingness to learn the technical aspects of plumbing systems is also desirable.
