Junior Architect

As a Junior Architect, you will support senior architects and the design team in various phases of architectural projects. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in design development, project documentation, site analysis, and client coordination, making it ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to thrive in a dynamic environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting senior architects in developing architectural designs for diverse projects. - Preparing detailed architectural drawings, plans, and supporting documents using CAD tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. - Participating in client meetings to grasp project requirements and objectives. - Conducting site visits, collecting data, and aiding in site analysis and project execution. - Researching materials, building codes, and new construction methods to ensure project compliance. - Drafting and organizing construction documentation, proposals, and presentations. - Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams to coordinate deliverables. - Ensuring compliance with relevant local, state, and federal building regulations. - Participating in reviews, brainstorming sessions, and project coordination meetings. - Assisting in planning, zoning analysis, and form development during the early design stages. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural design or related fields (including internships). - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, with a preference for familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. - Strong portfolio showcasing design and technical skills. - Basic understanding of building codes, construction processes, and architectural trends. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities. - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn new concepts. - Ability to efficiently manage time and tasks, sometimes under tight deadlines.
