Junior Architect

As a Trainee Junior Architect at Space 5 in Amritsar, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, assisting senior architects in various stages of design, planning, and project execution. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Design Support:** Assist in the development of architectural designs and concepts for projects. - **Technical Drawings:** Prepare and revise technical drawings, CAD models, and digital representations of architectural plans. - **3D Modeling & Visualization:** Utilize software tools like SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, or AutoCAD to create 3D models and renderings. - **Project Documentation:** Aid in preparing presentation materials, client reports, and project documentation. - **Site Visits:** Support senior architects during site inspections to ensure projects are progressing according to plan and assist with quality control. - **Collaboration:** Work closely with senior architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure alignment and integration of project requirements. - **Learning & Development:** Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance architectural knowledge and skills. **Qualifications Required:** - **Educational Background:** Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture (or related field). - **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or other relevant design software. Strong understanding of architectural drawing techniques and design principles. Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations is a plus. - **Soft Skills:** Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Ability to work in a team environment. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to take direction and be open to feedback. - **Experience:** Previous internships or academic projects in architecture are a plus but not required.
