Job Description

Bachelor s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution (Master s degree preferred).

1-3 years of experience in architectural design and project development (internship experience may be considered).

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.

Strong design and visualization skills, including hand sketching and 3D modeling/rendering.

Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy in work.

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

Portfolio showcasing design projects and technical abilities is required.

Experience with sustainable design principles and LEED certification.

Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) software.

Experience working on a variety of project types, such as residential, commercial, and institutional.

Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., American Institute of Architects).

Assist in the design and development of architectural projects from concept through construction.

Create conceptual drawings, renderings, and presentations to communicate design ideas.

Collaborate with senior architects and other team members to develop design solutions that meet client needs and project requirements.

Conduct research on materials, building codes, and zoning regulations to inform design decisions.

Prepare and revise architectural drawings and documents using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project presentations as needed.

Assist in preparing project proposals, contracts, and budgets.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors as required during the design and construction phases.

Maintain organized project files and documentation according to company standards.

Stay informed about current trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture and design.
