Junior architect

As an Architect at Nestable, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the development of architectural projects from conception to completion. Collaborating with engineers and construction teams, you will ensure that designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with all regulations. Your role will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality architectural solutions that align with the company's standards and requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design Development: Assist in preparing architectural designs and construction drawings, focusing on prefab building systems. Create functional and project goal-aligned architectural designs and drawings. Develop 3D models and renderings using software like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs and drawings comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements. Assist in developing construction details for ease of assembly, transportation, and installation. Coordination: Collaborate with structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other professionals to integrate various systems into architectural designs. Coordinate with suppliers and fabricators to ensure materials meet project specifications. Participate in client and stakeholder meetings for feedback and design concept refinement. Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and reports using CAD software. Assist in project documentation preparation, including architectural drawings, material specifications, and schedules. Contribute to project presentations, reports, and construction documents. Site Visits & Quality Control: Conduct site inspections as necessary to resolve design-related issues. Monitor prefab unit assembly and installation during site visits to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications. Experience: - 2 years in architectural design (Required) - 1 year in 3dsmax or Vray (Required) - 1 year in Revit (Required) - 1 year in Sketchup (Required) This is a full-time position that requires in-person work.,
