About the Role -

Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in processing

    accounts payable and receivable

    transactions accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables

    , ensuring timely collections and maintaining positive relationships with client managers.
  • Reconcile

    bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger

    accounts.
  • Participate in

    month-end and year-end closing

    processes, including journal entries and financial reports.
  • Maintain organized documentation of financial records for audits and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy in expense tracking and financial reporting.
  • Maintain an understanding of

    GST and TDS

    regulations and assist with related compliance tasks.
  • Support auditors by providing necessary information and documentation during audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in

    Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    .
  • 03 years of accounting experience

    , preferably with exposure to collections or receivables management.
  • Basic understanding of

    accounting principles (GAAP preferred)

    .
  • Proficiency in

    Microsoft Excel

    (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Familiarity with

    accounting software

    such as

    Tally, ZohoBooks, or similar systems

    (ERP knowledge is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of

    GST and TDS

    processes.
