Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Thane (Hybrid)

Work Type: Full time (Monday- Saturday)

Timings: 2PM to 11PM

Compensation: Up to ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience)

Job Overview:

The organization is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations in a fast-paced fruit trading and agritech environment. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting along with an understanding of inventory handling, perishable goods tracking, and vendor transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and daily financial transactions
• Handle end-to-end accounting activities including entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Perform inventory reconciliation, especially for perishable goods (fruits/produce)
• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly stock reports
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely collections
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) including vendor payments and tracking
• Handle purchase and sales entries related to trading operations
• Monitor stock movement, wastage, and discrepancies
• Coordinate with operations/warehouse teams for stock and billing accuracy
• Assist in GST compliance, invoicing, and basic statutory requirements
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal records

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles
• Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
• Knowledge of trading business accounting (purchase, sales, margins)
• Understanding of perishable inventory handling (preferred)
• Familiarity with GST, invoicing, and compliance basics
• Proficiency in MS Excel (reports, basic formulas, data tracking)
• Experience with accounting software (Tally or similar tools preferred)
• Good coordination and communication skills

Preferred:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in trading, FMCG, or agritech industry
• Commerce/Accounting background (B.Com or similar)
• Experience working with inventory-heavy businesses

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
