Junior Accountant

1. Vehicle Fuel & Mileage Management

• Maintain daily fuel records for all company vehicles and construction equipment.
• Record fuel purchases, quantities, amounts, odometer readings, and machine hour-meter readings.
• Calculate vehicle mileage (KM/L) and equipment fuel consumption (L/hour).
• Monitor fuel efficiency and identify unusual consumption or discrepancies.
• Maintain vehicle-wise and equipment-wise monthly fuel reports.
• Verify fuel bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.

2. Driver Attendance & Salary Processing

• Maintain daily attendance records for drivers and equipment operators.
• Track working days, overtime, leave, weekly offs, advances, and deductions.
• Prepare monthly driver salary sheets based on attendance and agreed salary terms.
• Maintain records of salary payments, advances, and outstanding balances.
• Coordinate with the Fleet Manager to verify attendance and working hours before salary processing.

3. Junior Accounting & Data Entry

• Enter purchase bills, fuel bills, expense vouchers, and other transactions into Excel or accounting software.
• Maintain records of petty cash, site expenses, vendor payments, and employee advances.
• Assist in maintaining accounts payable and receivable records.
• Organise invoices, vouchers, payment proofs, and other supporting documents.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger verification.
• Coordinate with the senior accountant for accounting entries and monthly closing activities.

4. Excel Reports & Documentation

• Prepare and update Excel sheets for vehicle expenses, fuel consumption, mileage, driver salaries, and attendance.
• Maintain accurate vehicle-wise and project-wise expense records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.
• Ensure all entries are updated on time and supporting documents are properly filed.
• Identify missing bills, incomplete entries, and discrepancies and report them promptly.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
