As a Junior Video Editor at 1 2 101, a niche business growth hacking firm specializing in luxury and lifestyle brands, you will play a crucial role in bringing visual narratives to life through dynamic content creation. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Editing & Post-Production:** - Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for various platforms. - Create short-form content like reels, teasers, and transitions with style and precision. - Enhance storytelling through the addition of motion graphics, text overlays, and sound design. - **Collaboration & Concept Execution:** - Work closely with content writers, designers, and strategists to create compelling video outputs. - Collaborate with the Visual Design team to maintain consistency across different formats. - Assist senior video editors on larger projects with adaptability and speed. - **Visual Consistency & Brand Language:** - Ensure all videos align with the brand's tone, look, and message. - Apply basic animations to maintain a cohesive aesthetic across platforms. - **Organization & File Management:** - Maintain structured folders and project timelines. - Handle exports, media file backups, and basic asset archiving effectively. - **Trend Awareness & Research:** - Stay updated with video trends, especially on social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube. - Provide creative references and formats relevant to ongoing content and campaigns. **Qualifications:** - 1-2 years of professional or freelance video editing experience. - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop is advantageous. - Understanding of storytelling, transitions, and audio syncing. - Familiarity with color correction, basic animations, and design sensibility. - Strong attention to detail and aesthetics, especially within fashion, lifestyle, or culture-driven content. - Excellent communication skills and willingness to receive feedback. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
