Job Description

Short JD – Jr Tester (Telecom)

Experience: 1–3 years
Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities:

Execute manual test cases for telecom applications (CRM, Billing, Mediation, Charging, IN systems).
Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
Validate customer journeys across telecom services (prepaid/postpaid, fixed line, data, VAS).
Document test results and report defects in JIRA or similar tools.
Assist in preparing test data and regression testing.
Support automation team by preparing data and executing simple scripts.
Maintain test case repository under senior tester guidance.

Must-Have Skills:

Manual Testing, SDLC & STLC understanding
Telecom domain knowledge
JIRA or defect management tools
SQL (for database validation) – optional
API testing and mobile app testing – advantage
