Hiring: Jr. R&D Chemist

Location: Sayakha GIDC, Bharuch
CTC: Up to ₹3.00 LPA
Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry)
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years (Pharma / Chemical Intermediates industry)

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute multi-step organic synthesis for target molecules as per SOP.
• Optimize reaction conditions to improve yield and purity.
• Perform purification techniques: distillation, crystallization, high-vacuum distillation.
• Handle reagents, solvents, and catalysts safely, strictly following SOPs.
• Work on pilot plant and scale-up activities.
• Interpret analytical results using HPLC, GC, TLC and other techniques.
• Maintain accurate lab records (observations, experimental procedures, results).
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines while handling hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain good housekeeping and documentation practices in the lab.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong knowledge of organic synthesis & process chemistry
Hands-on experience with purification techniques (distillation, crystallization, etc.)
Familiarity with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, TLC)
Knowledge of pilot plant operations & scale-up
Good understanding of safety protocols & SOPs in chemical handling
Strong documentation & record-keeping skills
Ability to work in a team-based R&D environment
