Role Overview: You will play a key role in the visual and interactive aspects of the Ecommerce platform at Bliss. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the front-end components of Magento-based websites to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience. Collaborating with design and backend teams, you will translate design mock-ups into functional interfaces, contributing to the continuous improvement and success of clients' online presence. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement frontend solutions. - Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Magento's templating system. - Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all frontend elements. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix frontend issues promptly. - Stay updated with the latest Magento updates, best practices, and industry trends. - Optimize website performance for improved user experience. - Optimize Magento 2 stores for maximum speed, scalability, and performance. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. - Implement responsive design principles for optimal viewing experiences across various devices. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for frontend development processes and standards. - Integrate PSD designs into Magento themes/Hyv Theme. - Implement basic SEO principles for frontend development. - Collaborate with version control tools like Git/GitLab for code management. Qualifications Required: - Understanding of UX/UI design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers. - Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles. - Knowledge of Magento Less, JavaScript, XML, Page Builder, and web standards. - Expert level understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms like Less and Sass. - Experience in developing and customizing Magento ecommerce sites using the Hyv Theme. - Strong understanding of frontend frameworks/libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, Bootstrap, or jQuery. - Expertise in Magento frontend technologies including Magento Less, JavaScript, XML, and Page Builder. - Ability to optimize and enhance website performance using Hyv Theme features and best practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in frontend development tasks. - Continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and updates related to the Hyv Theme and Magento frontend development. - Manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Handle projects independently with good time-management skills.
