Role & responsibilities Teaching & Instruction Deliver lectures and tutorials for undergraduate/postgraduate mathematics courses. Develop course materials, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments. Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning. Supervise student projects, research work, and practical sessions. Curriculum & Academic Development Assist in designing, reviewing, and updating the mathematics curriculum. Participate in academic planning, exam setting, and moderation activities. Ensure course objectives, outcomes, and teaching methods align with institutional standards. Student Engagement & Support Provide academic advising and mentoring to students. Maintain regular office hours and provide feedback on student performance. Support students in academic competitions, seminars, and workshops. Research & Professional Development Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals. Attend and contribute to conferences, seminars, and professional forums. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary and departmental research projects. Administrative Duties Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and accreditation activities. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and academic performance. Contribute to outreach activities, open houses, and community engagement Preferred candidate profile We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mathematics Lecturer to join our academic team.
