The Merchant Navy Officer will be responsible for performing duties associated with navigation, cargo handling, and overseeing ship operations. Daily tasks may include maintaining safety protocols, conducting inspections, managing crew members, and ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations. Qualifications Skills in navigation, cargo handling, and ship operations Knowledge of safety protocols and international maritime regulations Experience in managing crew members and conducting inspections Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment A valid maritime certification or degree in nautical science is preferred Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging conditions Previous experience in the maritime industry is an added advantage
