The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet all functional safety standards and regulations. This role involves leading safety analysis, developing safety concepts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement safety measures throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of functional safety processes in accordance with ISO 26262 (or relevant standards). Conduct safety analysis, including Hazard and Risk Analysis (HARA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). Develop and maintain safety plans, safety requirements, and safety cases. Ensure ASPICE compliance throughout the product development lifecycle. Collaborate with design, engineering, and testing teams to integrate safety and ASPICE requirements into product development. Perform safety verification and validation activities, including safety audits and assessments. Provide training and support to team members on ASPICE and functional safety standards and practices. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies regarding safety and ASPICE related matters. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 9 years of experience in functional safety, preferably in the automotive or related industry. In-depth knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and other relevant safety standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Certification in functional safety (e.g., TÜV Functional Safety Engineer) is a plus. Knowledge of Cybersecurity ISO 21434 is a plus.
