The candidate will be responsible for: Designing, developing, and maintaining web portals and digital experience solutions using HCL Digital Experience (formerly WebSphere Portal) platform. Customizing and configuring HCL DX components, themes, portlets, and integrations to meet business requirements. Implementing REST/SOAP APIs and integrating third-party systems and services into HCL DX. Collaborating with business analysts, UX designers, and backend teams to ensure seamless user journeys and consistent branding. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to portal performance, scalability, and security. Managing deployments, upgrades, and patches for HCL DX environments. Documenting technical designs, standards, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and support. The ideal candidate should possess: 2–5+ years of experience developing and supporting solutions on HCL DX / IBM WebSphere Portal . Proficiency in Java/J2EE , Portlet Development (JSR 168/286) , and HCL DX APIs . Experience with Web Content Manager (WCM) , themes, skins, and digital assets within HCL DX. Hands-on knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React or Angular for front-end customizations. Familiarity with integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, and SSO (SAML, OAuth). Strong understanding of portal architecture, caching, performance tuning, and security best practices . Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
