Job Title: Legal Officer – Fleet Management Location: Bangalore, India Job Type: Full-time About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Officer to handle legal matters related to our Fleet operations. The role involves managing accident cases, traffic challans, disputes related to car recovery, and providing legal support to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent the company in legal matters concerning fleet operations, including accidental cases, challans, recovery cases, insurance, and third-party claims. Draft, review, and maintain legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to fleet operations. Liaise with external lawyers, law enforcement authorities, RTO offices, and insurance companies to resolve disputes and cases in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with applicable transport, traffic, and motor vehicle laws. Provide legal advice and guidance to internal departments on matters related to fleet management. Maintain proper documentation and records of all legal cases, notices, and proceedings. Assist in drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs) to minimize legal risks. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree (LLM) will be an advantage. 3–6 years of relevant experience in handling legal matters, preferably in transport, logistics, or fleet management sector. Strong knowledge of Motor Vehicle Act, traffic rules, transport regulations, insurance laws, and recovery procedures. Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Fluency in English, Hindi, and Kannada preferred. What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.
