We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Shipping Executive to join our dynamic team at Jin Nai Apparel. Position Overview: The Shipping Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the company's shipping and import operations. This position is responsible for coordinating shipments from countries of origin, managing the import process, and ensuring compliance with all relevant customs regulations. General Management: Organizing the movement of goods via various modes of transport (sea, air, road, or rail) depending on the nature of the goods and the destination to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries. Scheduling and coordinating shipments to ensure timely delivery while minimizing costs and delays. Job Responsibilities: Manage all shipping documentation, ensuring customs compliance for international shipments. Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize shipping operations. Address and resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies. Prepare records, reports, and performance metrics related to shipping activities. Compare shipping quotations and costs to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions. Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Analyse shipping costs, assist in budget preparation, and monitor expenses. Identify potential risks in the shipping process and develop contingency plans. Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding shipping inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and company policies. Liaise with customs brokers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth clearance of goods. Job Requirements:- Education: Bachelor in business administration, supply chain management, logistics or a related field Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse/ logistics operations. Prior experience in manufacturing industry will be given priority. import and export documentation handling and preparation duty and tax exemption application and obligation. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or shipping operation is required. Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, Familiarity with International shipping regulations and custom compliance (training will be provided) Language: English and local language Others: Willing to travel for work Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: Tiruporur, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Shipping & Logistic: 5 years (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Location: Tiruporur, Tamil Nadu (Preferred) Work Location: In person
