JOB SUMMARY The DGM Commercial will be responsible for leading and coordinating key commercial functions at the factory unit, including stores, plant accounting, procurement, and administrative functions. This role is integral to ensuring commercial efficiency, cost control, and regulatory compliance across all commercial operations within a maize wet milling facility. JOB DESCRIPTION Role & responsibilities : 1. Oversee the Store Manager, ensuring proper inventory control and stock reconciliation. 2. Implement best practices in warehousing, FIFO/FEFO, and loss prevention. 3. Monitor stock levels, and ensure timely material availability to avoid production delays. 4. Supervise the plant-level accounting team, ensuring accurate financial recording of factory operations. 5. Ensure cost control through regular variance analysis and fixed/variable cost reporting. 6. Coordinate with corporate finance for budgeting, audits, and compliance. 7. Approve and review all operational expenditure (Opex) purchases. 8. Monitor the maize procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing. 9. Coordinate with the HR team on manpower planning, time office functions, and compliance with labor laws. 10. Support administrative functions including security, housekeeping, and statutory obligations at the plant level. 11. Serve as a liaison between the plant and external stakeholders (government departments, local bodies, vendors, etc.). 12. Handle PR matters sensitively and professionally to maintain the organizations reputation and stakeholder relationships. Candidates Profile / Skill sets required : Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions, and drive business growth. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to negotiate contracts, build relationships, and communicate effectively across diverse teams and cultures. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analysing data, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed business decisions. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions, and adapt to changing business environments. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Engineering, or related field; MBA/CA preferred. 12-18 years of experience in commercial operations, preferably in a manufacturing or Agri-processing industry. Role & responsibilities : 1) ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR: i) Project management, Execution, O&M, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical equipment, instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial or commercial purposes. ii) Managing to conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. iii) Supervise and managing to diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity. iv) Closely monitoring DG repair, other Equipment Repair maintenance. 2) System Installation & Upgrades: i) Closely managing and monitoring design and implement new electrical systems or upgrade existing ones to enhance efficiency and capacity. ii) Install and commission electrical equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards. 3) Safety & Compliance: i) Ensure all electrical systems comply with industry standards, local regulations, and company SOPs. ii) Implement and monitor safety systems such as Human Body Discharge and automatic Earth Rite systems for static discharge. 4) Production Support: i) Work closely with production teams to optimize machinery and system performance. ii) Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to meet production schedules. Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity. 5) Energy Efficiency & Sustainability: i) Identify opportunities for energy savings and implement energy-efficient solutions. ii) Support the transition to sustainable electrical practices in line with company goals. 6) Documentation & Reporting: i) Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system modifications, and incident reports. ii) Generate reports on system performance and recommend improvements. 7) Collaboration & Training: i) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and safety departments. ii) Train operators and maintenance personnel on electrical safety and system handling. 8) Hand on Knowledge on Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Protection & Metering Diagrams, and Load Schedules. 9) Develop Protection & Metering SLDs for HV/MV/LV systems, 10) Review daily work orders and provide reports. 11) Work with a variety of technicians. Preferred candidate profile: I) Proficiency in HV/LV Electrical systems, PLCs, drives, and automation. II) Knowledge of industrial equipment such as BOILER, TURBINE, HT & LT TRANSFORMER. III) Proficiency in Project/Execution/O&M, Operations, depth knowledge of specifications, codes, hands-on experience, proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, Auto CAD, Software tools. iV) Determine electrical specialist with excellent problem-solving solvening decision-making, damage prevention and repair skill. V) Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
