Role: Sales Manager Role Overview: As the Sales Manager at our Pharma distribution company, you will play a crucial role in driving sales revenue, expanding our retail presence, and leading a dynamic sales team. Your primary responsibilities will include increasing sales revenue, expanding the number of retail pharma counters, recruiting and motivating sales staff, and implementing sales strategies to achieve business objectives. Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's retail presence and increase market share. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, and retail pharma counters to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to sales staff to improve performance and productivity. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction, and implement corrective actions as needed. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management to communicate performance and propose strategies for improvement. Follow up on the outstanding amount in the market and collect it from retailers within timelines Reporting To: Unit Head/Cluster Head - Sales Location: Chennai and Khammam Work Timings: Monday to Saturday Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 2 -7 years of experience in sales management and team management, preferably in the Pharma retail distribution/Retail/FMCG Distribution industry. Proven track record of success in driving sales team, revenue growth and expanding retail presence.
