The key duties that make up the job description of such technician revolve around installation of electrical components, machines and gadgets; maintenance of such machines as well as troubleshooting and repairs whenever there is a breakdown. Knowledge in Commissioning of 6kV motors, 380V/415V pump/fan Motors, 380V/415V Motorized Valve, dampers, doors, filters, Local Control Panels, etc inside operating island and common buildings.Technician can work in diverse roles and in various industries from construction to manufacturing, service and the energy industry. Due to the nature and importance of the job, Technician may be required to work shifts and put in long working hours. To qualify as an Technician, a person would be required to undergo a course and obtain a Diploma/Degree in electrical engineering or enroll for training and trade certification programs.
