Job Title: Quality Engineer – Aluminium Formwork Location: Gadarpur, Uttarakhand Department: Quality Assurance Reports To: Plant Head Role Description: To ensure that aluminium formwork components and installations meet the required quality standards through inspections, testing, and process control, while continuously improving quality systems to support efficient and defect-free project execution. Key Responsibilities: 1. Quality Control & Inspection Perform dimensional checks and visual inspections of aluminium formwork panels, accessories, and assembled units. Monitor quality during fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials (aluminium sheets, profiles etc.). Inspect mockup installations to ensure correct use and fitting of formwork systems. 2. Documentation & Reporting Maintain QC documentation: inspection reports, deviation reports, material test certificates. Prepare and update Quality Control Plans (QCP), ITPs (Inspection Test Plans), and SOPs. Record and report non-conformities (NCRs) and support root cause analysis and corrective actions. 3. Process Improvement Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve efficiency. Liaise with production and design teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product design. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in aluminium formwork industry. Knowledge of aluminium materials and fabrication processes. Familiarity with quality instruments Strong documentation and report-writing skills. Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
