1. To take charge of the patients from the resident on night duty. 2. Ensure that all investigations are sent. Plan for any invasive procedure like CVP change, tracheostomy etc during day time. 3. Plan for feeding, IV fluids orders for next 24 hrs & monitor their administration. 4. To ensure Physiotherapy: 2-3 times during day, position change 2hrly & eye care in patients who require them. 5. Write daily progress notes & notes regarding any procedure performed upon patients. 6. Follow the investigations sent in morning and plan corrections & changes in treatment accordingly, after discussing with consultant incharge be followed.
