Offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc. Please note that the salary range has the potential to change and may be modified in the future, taking into consideration market conditions. #INDOTHER Responsibilities Clinical Management: Provides physical therapy treatments to residents according to evaluations and treatment plans developed by the licensed Physical Therapist. Exercises sound judgment and provide effective and efficient care in the performance of duties. Observes, records, and reports to the therapist the conditions, reactions and responses related to assigned duties. Tracks the need for reassessment and reports changes in status that may indicate the need for reassessment or referral. Maintains daily records of treatments and documents progress notes on residents as directed by the therapist. Discontinues immediately any treatment procedure that appears harmful to the resident/patient and notifies the licensed physical therapist and other appropriate staff. Ensures appropriate review of care rendered is performed by the licensed Physical Therapist according to practice regulations. Team Member Abides by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan. Assists the Physical Therapist in consulting with family members, physicians and other health care professionals, as appropriate. Assists with the care of the therapy equipment and rehabilitation department. Assists the Physical Therapist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned. Participates in continual improvement by identifying opportunities for improvement and by supporting implementation of new strategies developed by others. Participates in team meetings both within the department and within the facility. Acts in compliance with facility, regulatory and professional standards and guidelines. Adheres to facility policies and procedures and participates in facility quality improvement and safety programs. Qualifications 1. Graduate of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program. 2. Current license or eligible for license under statutes in the State of Maryland.** 3. Training or experience in long-term or sub-acute setting. 4. Prefer active membership in the state and national American Physical Therapy Association. 5. Ability to understand and follow the directions of the Physical Therapist and the policies and procedures of the facility. Responsibilities On referral, evaluates the impact of available resident information on the assessment and treatment process. Conducts and documents a thorough assessment of the resident to determine and diagnose communicative deficits and equipment needs. Develops and implements an individualized treatment program based on the initial evaluation and containing achievable functional goals. Complies with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines described in facility policy and procedures. Complete appropriate documentation in the resident’s medical record following each treatment session. Revises the resident’s treatment program, as needed, based upon resident performance. Documents the course of treatment in a clear, concise discharge summary utilizing a prescribed format. Orients residents to program services and treatment procedures appropriate to their needs. Informs residents of any potential risk during any procedure. Works with nursing staff, resident and families to maximize resident’s use of functional abilities. Qualifications Graduate of an approved program in Speech/Language Pathology culminating in the receipt of a Master’s or Doctoral Degree. Job Summary Principal duties in this position are including but not limited to: Car repairs involving cutting and welding (SMAW) on the safety appliances. Air Arc Gouging Preparing and maintaining documentation for completion of rail car repairs in compliance with regulatory standards Perform necessary repairs to Hopper, Tank railcars and their components, light and medium-duty mechanical repairs, wheel pair, truck components, coupler components servicing, changing out loading valves, airbrake testing, rail car bubble leak testing, etc. Inbound rail car inspections as required Read, comprehend, and follow repair orders and procedures Other related duties as assigned This role requires the successful candidate to work rotating 12-hour shifts. Requirements Strong written and oral communication skills Strong mechanical background with competent and safe use of hand tools and power equipment Must be able to read and understand written work orders, material safety data sheets, complete work write-ups, and other paper and computer work Prior railcar repair experience or similar, and knowledge of AAR standards an asset Perform and document quality control checks as required by Company and regulatory quality standards Adhere to both customer site and Procor’s health and safety standards (including the Responsible Care policy), and wear the required personal protective equipment for the job in a safe manner Must be able to work in an environment with continuous exposure to outdoor weather conditions with dust, fumes, and noise The ability to work while wearing respiratory protection WHMIS training, experience dealing with hazardous commodities Must be able to climb, stoop, and bend repeatedly, carry hand and power tools.
