Job Summary: Decbectochem is looking for an experienced Fabrication Head to lead our fabrication division. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in fabrication, quality assurance, lean manufacturing, and safety management. This role requires a leader who can optimize fabrication processes, ensure high-quality standards, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Fabrication & Production Management Lead the fabrication team in manufacturing high-performance industrial products. Optimize processes using lean manufacturing techniques like 5S, Kaizen, JIT Production, and DMAIC. Improve production efficiency while ensuring cost-effective operations. Implement Industry 4.0 practices to enhance automation and digital transformation. 2. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure all fabrication work meets company and industry standards. Implement strict quality control measures to minimize defects and rework. Maintain compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. 3. Safety & Training Maintain zero-accident safety practices, ensuring a safe working environment. Conduct safety training sessions (minimum 60 hours per quarter). Implement best practices in workplace safety, including GEMBA walks and POSH compliance. 4. Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and train the fabrication team to improve efficiency and quality. Foster a collaborative work culture, reducing conflicts and enhancing team morale. Manage workforce planning, task delegation, and performance reviews. 5. Process Optimization & Cost Management Reduce fabrication cycle times and minimize material waste. Implement SAP-based production planning (PP Module, QM Basic) for better workflow. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials. Key Requirements: Education & Experience: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 6+ years of experience in fabrication, quality control, and manufacturing. Experience with heavy fabrication (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, structural components, etc.). Skills & Competencies: Expertise in fabrication techniques, welding, and inspection methods. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and process improvements. Excellent people management and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in fabrication software and tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc. Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures. Job Summary: The Assembly Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to understand design and optimize assembly process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Planning, Execution and supervision of assembly process, with experience in SAP ERP, MS Office and root cause analysis ensuring seamless integration in manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute production and assembly activities as per scheduled requirements. Supervise assembly and fabrication processes to ensure quality and timely delivery. Review Engineering drawings and plans to reduce cycle time and optimize production timeline. Monitor and manage daily production operations ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Manage inventory and material planning to minimize waste and control costs. Ensure maintenance schedules are followed to reduce equipment downtime. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 3-6 years in similar role within manufacturing sector. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in working with process plant equipment being used for Pharma, F&B and Chemicals will be an added advantage. Strong planning and execution capabilities. Proficient in SAP (ERP), MS Office and production management tools. Good knowledge of assembly, machining and fabrication processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis skills.
