Job Title :Blue Yonder ESP Developer

Required Experience : 5+ years

Location : Hyderabad.

Job Summary :-

Reports To: BY ESP Architect / Supply Chain IT Lead

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Blue Yonder ESP Developer to support the technical implementation, configuration, and development of the Enterprise Supply Planning (ESP) module. The developer will work closely with solution architects, business analysts, and integration teams to build robust, scalable planning solutions that optimize supply chain operations. The candidate must be willing to work on site 4 days a week in Hyderabad, during US EST time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configuration & Development
• Configure and develop components within Blue Yonder ESP, including supply planning, inventory balancing, pegging, and constraint-based planning logic.
• Customize ESP engines to align with business supply network models, demand signals, and production capacities.
• Create and manage planning parameters, supply chain hierarchies, and master data elements.
• Integration & Data Handling
• Develop and support integrations between Blue Yonder ESP and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) using middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP PI, Informatica).
• Design and maintain data pipelines for inbound and outbound data loads (e.g., BOMs, demand feeds, supply signals).
• Perform data validations, root cause analysis for planning errors, and ensure data quality.
• Testing & Documentation
• Support unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and test scripts.
• Troubleshoot planning engine behavior, performance issues, and user-reported defects.
• Collaboration & Support
• Collaborate with business process owners, planners, and IT teams to ensure solution alignment.
• Assist with training and onboarding of users to newly configured functionalities.
• Support hypercare and transition activities post go-live.
• Contribute to production support and documenting processes and facilitating enablement sessions to empower stakeholders with the necessary skills and knowledge to utilize BY ESP solutions effectively.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder ESP (formerly JDA ESP), specifically in configuration and development.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of supply planning processes: constraint planning, pegging, ATP/CTP, and inventory balancing. Experience working with data integration technologies and scripting (e.g., PL/SQL, Python, Unix, or batch scripting). Familiarity with supply chain data structures, planning KPIs, and exception handling.
• Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and highly dynamic environment and manage teams across different time zones. Must be multi-tasker and able to prioritize and deliver assignments with the highest quality under pressure with short deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Blue Yonder SCPO platform and related modules (Demand, IO, Sequencing).
• Experience in OIL script a significant advantage.
• Ability to interpret BY ESP solver results ensuring planning quality is highly preferred.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid implementation methodologies.
• Good analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, or event-driven architecture is a plus.
• BY certification in ESP or SCPO suite is a plus.
• Experience in deploying complex BOM, Load building planning, dynamic deployment functionality is highly preferred.
• Experience in SPARQ solver is a plus.
• Knowledge of Anaplan (planning) models is a plus.
