Job Summary The Senior Plant Manager will lead all aspects of manufacturing operations for JLG’s new Pune facility , ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives are achieved. This role will oversee end-to-end production planning, execution, and continuous improvement, while fostering a culture of operational excellence and team engagement. The leader will be responsible for driving manufacturing performance, coordinating cross-functional alignment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving the plant’s strategic and operational goals. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Oversee all internal and external operations related to parts supply for the main product line, including purchasing and component planning. Develop and execute production schedules aligned with demand forecasts, capacity, and inventory targets. Lead and develop a cross-functional team including Industrial Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing to ensure material readiness and production efficiency. Prioritize production based on customer needs, profitability, and business priorities. Establish contingency and risk mitigation plans for material availability and on-time product delivery. Define and implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels while supporting operational continuity. Track, analyze, and report plant performance against key metrics, schedules, and business objectives. Ensure proactive communication and alignment with corporate functions on schedules, quality, and cost performance. Build and sustain a high-performing team capable of supporting both near-term goals and long-term business growth. Qualifications 15+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and planning and materials management. Proven expertise in capacity planning, inventory control, and lean manufacturing principles. Prior experience in 3PL (third-party logistics) management is highly preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

The Industrial Engineer will coordinate manufacturing processes by developing, evaluating and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Essential Duties And Responsibilities These duties are not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned. Research and formulate plans to accomplish major projects, including manpower estimates, cost estimates and work measuring devices such as milestones or critical path charts. Compare legacy product design to new product design to identify differences in components and labor content. Review BOM (Bill of Material) for accuracy in support of proposal work. Document assumptions, methodology/rationale, and labor estimate using basis of estimate (BOE) document. Estimate labor hours using existing reports provided by Finance Team. Collaborate with design teams to complete BOM comparison and review contractual requirements to ensure all costs are captured. Develop and write proposals for production processes. Job Summary The Quality Engineer will support the new Pune Plant in manufacturing by ensuring robust quality control throughout the production process. This role is responsible for troubleshooting quality issues on the shop floor, investigating root causes, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with JLG quality and safety standards. As part of the plant start-up team, the Quality Engineer will play a key role in achieving first-pass yield, defect prevention, and stable production ramp-up of scissor lifts for global markets. Essential Duties And Responsibilities These duties are not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned. Support quality assurance and control activities across fabrication, welding, paint, assembly, and final inspection for scissor lift production. Report and escalate quality issues to supervisors, engineers, and plant leadership with data-based recommendations. Partner with operators and production supervisors to resolve in-process quality concerns. Conduct in-process and finished product audits in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Perform weld inspections (visual and dimensional), monitor critical dimensions of structural parts, and ensure hydraulic and electrical assemblies meet standards. Document and manage nonconforming material reports (NCR/DMR); support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure. Identify potential supplier-related quality issues and escalate to the Supplier Quality team for follow-up. Act as an advocate for first-pass yield, defect-free assembly, and continuous improvement. Participate in daily production and quality review meetings. Operate or move JLG machines when required to support functional checks and final verification.
