Role & responsibilities 1. Managing the section to achieve the production plan 2. Planning and organizing the work of the production operators/ crane operators and making routine adjustments to work assignments, production processes and equipment to meet production schedules and targets by ensuring organizations quality and safety standards. 3. Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of section. 4. Smoothly running of the machine in all respect. In case of discrepancies, initiating corrective action, requests repairs or implements countermeasures and tracks results. 5. Should available on shop floor to provide support/guidance for problem resolution, routine production activities during shift hours. 6. Responsible for proper documentation like daily production reports, quality reports, statistics analysis. On time reporting to superiors. 7. Ensure specified quality of finished product and proper delivery to various departments with set quality norms. 8. Inventory management and waste management 9. Proper shift management and hand over/coordination while shift change by official way. 10. Strict compliance with working regulations, safety instructions given in safety handbook and any such instructions communicated by organization timely. 11. Provide in time correct reports as and when required. 12. Support middle management to achieve targets. 13. Any unusual act / change of 4M inform / discuss with superiors & make KY or RA. 14. Maintain healthy & productive environment on shop. 15. Information of any leaves in advance & support to maintain productivity by adjusting the schedule. 16. Giving ideas & implementation if it for continual improvement. 17. Maintain discipline, safety & 5S during working hours 18. Condition monitoring of Machines & trouble shooting of machine problems. 19. Check members / operators health & keep records. 20. Maintaining 5S at working place 21. Everyday prestart inspection of machines & tools. Condition monitoring & information about abnormalities. Preferred candidate profile 1. Ability to understand fractions, calibrations and micro meters, must be able to measure and cut to specific widths and lengths with accuracy 2. Can operate slitting & CTL machines by own. Can program / set machines as per plan. 3. Knowledge of ISO standards, Safety practices, Kaizen, safety circle and 5S activities. 4. Sound knowledge of machine 5. Sound computer operation skills including MS office & CAD 6. Crane & forklift operation by own 7. Achieving & Maintaining 5S at working place. Prestart inspection & condition monitoring of machines.
