Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Senior Electronics and Embedded Software Engineer with a strong foundation in power electronics, microelectronics, and hardware design. This role requires proficiency in embedded software programming and languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing microcontroller-based systems that incorporate RF, IR, Bluetooth , and other wireless technologies. This role demands a meticulous problem-solver and an innovator who is passionate about creating robust and efficient embedded systems. Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and test microcontroller-based embedded systems with a focus on power electronics, sensor integration, and low-power applications. Develop and maintain embedded software to support functionality for complex electronics hardware, using languages like C and C++ for real-time applications. Architect, program, and debug firmware for embedded systems , ensuring reliability and performance in real-world applications. Implement communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C , and CAN for device interfacing. Work with wireless communication technologies (RF, IR, Bluetooth) to integrate and optimize connectivity within embedded designs. Perform hardware-software integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to optimize embedded system functionality. Develop real-time operating system (RTOS) solutions when necessary, focusing on efficient resource management and task scheduling. Conduct simulations and perform root-cause analysis for performance optimization, power efficiency, and debugging of embedded hardware. Create comprehensive technical documentation, including firmware design documents, flowcharts, and embedded system diagrams. Lead cross-functional development efforts, collaborating with product management, quality assurance, and hardware engineering teams. Stay up-to-date with new technology trends in embedded systems, wireless communication, and microcontroller platforms. Requirements : Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in embedded engineering and electronics. Extensive knowledge and experience in microcontroller programming (e.g., ARM Cortex, STM32, PIC, AVR). Proficiency in firmware development and embedded software programming using C and C++ for real-time applications. Strong familiarity with hardware design for embedded systems, including PCB layout, circuit design, and component selection. Experience with low-level programming and working closely with memory management and interrupt-driven programming . Proficiency in communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN. Solid understanding of signal processing, power management, and thermal management in embedded systems. Proven track record with wireless communication technologies (RF, IR, Bluetooth) and integration into embedded designs. Knowledge of RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Micrium) and experience in scheduling, task management, and handling real-time requirements. Strong analytical skills, systematic problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Ability to independently manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet project timelines. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with PCB design and layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle). Familiarity with Python and Java for additional software development or testing scripts. Knowledge of IoT and secure communication protocols for embedded systems. Previous experience in testing frameworks and version control systems like Git.
