Role Summary

JavaScript Developer

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable web applications, enhance user experience, and ensure application performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

1. Frontend Development

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using JavaScript (ES6+).
  
• Build reusable UI components using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
  
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, functional code.
  
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
  

2. API Integration & Asynchronous Programming

• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
  
• Work with AJAX, Fetch API, and Axios for asynchronous data handling.
  
• Manage JSON data structures and API responses efficiently.
  
• Handle authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
  

3. Performance Optimization

• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
  
• Minimize load times and improve rendering efficiency.
  
• Use lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies.
  
• Debug performance bottlenecks using browser developer tools.
  

4. Code Quality & Best Practices

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  
• Follow coding standards and participate in peer code reviews.
  
• Implement unit and integration testing (Jest, Mocha, or similar tools).
  
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
  

5. Build & Deployment

• Configure and maintain build tools like Webpack and Babel.
  
• Manage module bundling and transpiration processes.
  
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
  
• Collaborate with backend developers for seamless integration.
  

6. Optional Backend Exposure (Preferred)

• Develop server-side applications using Node.js.
  
• Work with Express.js or similar frameworks.
  
• Handle basic database interactions (MongoDB/MySQL).
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in JavaScript development.
  
• Strong understanding of core JavaScript concepts and modern ES6+ features.
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
