As a software engineer, you will design and architect modern backend systems using technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and microservices principles. You will also be involved in defining infrastructure, determining platform architecture, and improving system flexibility to support high availability web applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design and architect modern backend systems using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and microservices principles - Define infrastructure for design and integration of internet computing systems - Determine platform architecture, technology, and tools - Confirm architecture capability and flexibility for high availability web applications - Improve architecture by tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements - Apply scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems - Develop and apply software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance - Exercise original thought and judgment while supervising the work of other software engineers - Build skills and expertise in software engineering discipline - Collaborate and act as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Work extensively with AWS or Azure services, including MSK (Kafka), EC2, RDS, S3, Redis, and InfluxDB - Deep expertise in Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem - 10+ years of experience in building Enterprise applications using Java, with 5+ years in architecture and leadership roles - Solid grasp of microservice design, object-oriented programming, and stateful systems Additional Company Details: Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner with a diverse team of 340,000 members in over 50 countries.
