Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to shape your career in a way that aligns with your goals. Your role will involve the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions and applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop software using Java, Spring Boot Microservices, Hibernate, React, and related technologies - Design and utilize APIs using REST, XML, and JSON - Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability - Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers - Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives **Qualifications Required:** - 4-6 years of hands-on experience in software development with a focus on Java and microservices/Hibernate with React - Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot Microservices/Hibernate, React, and related technologies - Knowledge of API management and documentation tools - Experience with Relational Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., Cassandra, Couch DB, Mongo DB, H-Base) - Familiarity with Elastic Search, Kafka, Redis, Docker - Experience in Cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Please note that successful candidates will be required to pass through SC Security Clearance as a condition of undertaking the role.
