Java FSD + Azure

As a Java FSD + Azure professional, your role involves designing, developing, and implementing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. You will lead the development of converter services to integrate legacy systems with modern strategic platforms, ensuring seamless data transformation. Additionally, you will contribute to AS400 modernization projects by converting legacy systems into scalable Java-based microservices and React front-end applications. Collaboration with architects, business stakeholders, and global teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy is crucial. Providing technical leadership and mentoring to the development team is essential to ensure adherence to best practices in coding, cloud deployment, and DevOps. Your focus will be on end-to-end development (backend, frontend, integration, deployment) with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and security. Participation in design reviews, code reviews, and ensuring high-quality delivery is expected. It is important to stay updated with emerging Azure services, cloud-native development practices, and security frameworks. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. - Lead the development of converter services for integrating legacy systems with modern strategic platforms. - Contribute to AS400 modernization projects by converting legacy systems into scalable Java-based microservices and React front-end applications. - Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and global teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy. - Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the development team, emphasizing best practices in coding, cloud deployment, and DevOps. - Work on end-to-end development (backend, frontend, integration, deployment) with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. - Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and ensure high-quality delivery. - Stay updated with emerging Azure services, cloud-native development practices, and security frameworks. Qualification Required: - 8-15 years of strong experience in Java/J2EE application development. - Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and full-stack development. - Hands-on experience in cloud-native application development on Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, etc.). - Proficiency in front-end development using React (preferred) or Angular. - Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). - Prior experience in large-scale transformation/migration projects involving legacy systems. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and design thinking skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to mentor junior developers and guide teams on best practices. Additional Company Details (if provided in the JD): Exposure to financial services domain (banking, trading, settlement systems), experience in modernizing AS400 or legacy platforms to Java microservices, knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements in banking applications, and certification in Azure Solutions Architect / Azure Developer Associate are preferred qualifications.,
