Java development

You are an experienced and proactive Java Spring Boot Lead who will join a dynamic technology team. Your role involves leading the development of enterprise-scale microservices and APIs using modern Java technologies. You will also be responsible for mentoring a team of developers and ensuring delivery excellence. As a Java Spring Boot Lead, you will lead a team of backend developers in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Collaboration with enterprise architects, business analysts, and product owners to define technical solutions aligned with business goals is an essential aspect of your role. Additionally, you will oversee code quality, enforce best practices, and conduct peer reviews. Guiding the team in adopting modern DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native practices, breaking down technical requirements, and effectively assigning work across the team are key responsibilities. You will also troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across services and environments while ensuring compliance with security and architectural standards as per guidelines. Reporting progress, blockers, and risks to stakeholders and project management regularly is part of your role. To be successful in this position, you should have 10+ years of experience in Java development and at least 3 years of experience in leading development teams. Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security is required. A deep understanding of Microservices Architecture and RESTful API design is essential. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred) is also necessary. Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, and familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) are important skills. Working knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills are expected. Nice to have skills include prior experience in the banking or financial services domain, exposure to frontend frameworks like Angular or React (optional), and experience with logging/monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK stack, or Prometheus.,
