Job Description

Role Overview: At Capgemini Engineering, the global leader in engineering services, you will play a pivotal role in providing unique R&D and engineering services across various industries. As a Software Engineer, you will work on developing, maintaining, and optimizing software solutions and applications. Your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS (Lambda and EKS), microservices architecture, and unit testing using Junit & Mockitto will be crucial in solving software engineering problems. Key Responsibilities: - Apply scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems - Develop and apply software engineering practices in research, design, development, and maintenance - Exercise original thought and judgment while supervising other software engineers - Build skills and expertise in software engineering discipline - Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Proven experience with Java and Spring Boot - Strong proficiency in AWS, especially in Lambda and EKS - Understanding of microservices architecture - Hands-on experience with Unit testing using Junit & Mockitto - Experience working with AWS services like RDS, Fargate, or related technologies - Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, automated testing pipelines) - Good communication skills - Team handling experience will be advantageous Additional Details: Capgemini is known for emphasizing team spirit, trust, and innovation, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
