JAVA Developer - AVP

As a Java Developer at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and improve software utilizing various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. - Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and optimized performance. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives. - Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing, and stay informed of industry technology trends. - Adhere to secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and implement effective unit testing practices for proper code design and reliability. Qualifications Required: - Degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent. - Experience in Core Java and Unix scripting L3 support. - Knowledge of DevOps. - Skills in debugging, containerization (Kubernetes or Docker), basic SQL, and handling user queries. The role is based in Pune.
