As a Java Consultant - Banking at NTT DATA in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications. Your role will involve hands-on experience in Core Java, J2EE, back-end development, and database design using Java. You will work on high-volume and low latency applications, focusing on performance and scalability considerations. Collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers, you will create efficient, reliable, and scalable software. Your key responsibilities include: - Hands-on experience on Core Java, J2EE, and back-end development using Java - Expertise in object-oriented programming and design patterns such as MVC - Experience in database design, SQL, and ORM tools like Hibernate/JDO - Knowledge of Microservices-based architecture and Web applications - Designing and developing REST microservices following best practices - Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic - Writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code following best practices Your qualifications and required skillset should include proficiency in Java programming language (Java SE and EE), understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar, experience working with relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies, familiarity with version control systems particularly Git, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
