JAVA Backend Engineer

As a skilled Software Engineer III, you will be proficient in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and full-stack development. Your role will involve supporting U.S. operations, requiring availability during evening shifts and adept problem-solving abilities for frontend and backend systems. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-assured developer with familiarity in cloud platforms, DevOps, and Agile environments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing RESTful web services and microservices using Java Spring Boot - Constructing and maintaining full-stack applications with ReactJS on the frontend - Utilizing AWS for application setup, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning - Acting as a junior AWS Architect to aid in setting up scalable infrastructure - Integrating and overseeing CI/CD pipelines through GitLab - Troubleshooting user-reported issues in collaboration with business teams and vendors - Actively participating in Agile ceremonies and implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices - Analyzing system requests and coordinating with various teams for successful delivery - Collaborating with other HAEA groups during integration or platform-related challenges - Documenting technical solutions while escalating issues as necessary to align with business priorities To excel in this role, you must possess: - Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS - Hands-on experience in managing AWS applications - Good understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitLab - Comfort with Agile methodologies and TDD practices - Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills - Exposure to additional cloud platforms like Azure or SAP BTP, which would be considered advantageous,
