Job Description

As a Java Backend Developer at Morgan Stanley, you will be an integral part of the FRPPE-FinTech team based in Bangalore. Your role will involve contributing to the transformation of how Morgan Stanley operates, playing a crucial role in the development and maintenance of systems that support the global Operations of Morgan Stanley. Within the Technology division, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain backend/frontend services. You will actively participate in design discussions, ensure code quality, and review code to support transformation initiatives and deliver new features for the platform. To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 7 years of strong experience in Java 8+ and be proficient in working with Microservices architecture, RESTful API Design, Kafka, NoSQL, and RDBMS. Your expertise should extend to frameworks for development, Object-Oriented Design, Design patterns, Architecture, and Application Integration. Additionally, a background in problem-solving, system integration, infrastructure debugging, or system administration would be advantageous. Desirable skills for this role include experience with Web UI JS Framework AngularJS and Distributed Caching like Redis.
