As a proactive and experienced Software Engineer specializing in Backend Development, you will be responsible for writing Java code and collaborating with clients in the automotive digital service space. Your main focus will be on developing custom solutions for web applications using Java, Spring Framework, and various databases. You will work independently to ensure the delivery of high-quality code within complex digital projects. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize strong core Java skills to develop a web application with predominantly microservices architecture interacting with databases - Demonstrate expertise in Spring Framework (version 4 or above) including Spring Boot, JPA, Batch, Integration/XD, and Restful Services - Employ Hibernate 4 or above for database operations - Possess a good understanding of IoT Sensor/Gateway/Device Communication protocols like SNMP, MQTT, Zigbee - Experience in Azure architecture, designing, and deploying ADLS and Azure COSMOS DB solutions - Develop unit/integration/system testing scripts and integrate systems using various protocols like REST, SOAP, and JSON - Utilize Source Code Management tools such as Git, BitBucket, and Subversion - Experience with build tools like Maven, Gradle, and Continuous Build tools like TeamCity/Jenkins - Implement Agile practices for efficient project delivery Desirable Skills: - Experience in UI development with Angular, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery - Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Junit, Selenium, and Cucumber - Familiarity with Azure environment, Docker, Cosmos DB, REDIS, microservice architecture, and Message queues like Rabbit MQ and Kafka Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - 8-10 years of relevant experience with previous work as an application engineer - Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively At GlobalLogic, we prioritize a culture of caring, continuous learning, and development.
