Maintain Drawing Records Project Wise . Drawing and Design Control . Work along with Project Manager & Draftsmen during Project Execution. Explain Manufacturing Drawings to the Production & Manufacturing team. Preparation of As-built Drawings . Preparation of Fabrication and Painting Specifications . Should be well conversant with engineering practices followed by various engineering consultants in the domain. Responsible for preparing, checking, and approving drawings and technical data sheets. Issue Material Requisitions, Mechanical Datasheets, and Technical Bid Evaluations for Quotations and Tenders. Check/prepare Bill of Material and Commodity Data Sheets as per drawings and calculations. Perform Mechanical Strength Calculations per project specifications, standards, and codes. Prepare Client Comments Resolution Sheets . Review and approve Vendor Documents, Drawings, and Detailed Engineering of equipment. Ensure interface control and timely management of all technical data . Follow the Design Engineering SOP for internal approval processes. Float enquiry specifications for various bought-out equipment and conduct technical evaluations of vendor offers. Prepare Bill of Material as per the defined scope matrix . Maintain records of Technical Query Resolution and incorporate agreed changes during the proposal stage. Work closely with Procurement for Technical Bid Evaluations of various bought-out components. Prepare Technical Query Sheets based on Vendor Offer Evaluations . Arrange and supervise Design Drafting Staff/Functions for mechanical projects. Review standards, practices, and ITP documents of clients at the project s start. Allocate work priorities for the Design Engineering Team and ensure interdisciplinary coordination at all levels, including vendors and clients. Attend Technical and Kick-off Meetings with vendors and customers.

Responsible for creating drawings that exhibit the detail and method of assembly for a variety of machinery and mechanical equipment. Use ACAD and Drafting software to prepare drawings. 3D Model preparation in SolidWorks. Create manufacturing drawings from 3D SolidWorks models. Draft routine working sketches, layouts, piping & isometrics. Update and revise 2D drawings based on changes needed by Engineers and Designers. Develop detailed designs/drawings for mechanical equipment and controls. Provide details on component descriptions & resolve design problems. Review and analyze specifications. Create detailed specifications for components/equipment/piping. Compute dimensions of materials and purchase accordingly. Draft technical details, specify dimensions, materials, and procedures. Draw minute details of assembly. Refer to technical handbooks and tables during the drafting phase. Create and store drawings electronically. Prepare variations of design. Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications. KEY FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES: Should be an expert in operating ACAD software. Good knowledge of 3D modeling software, viz.
