Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identify electrical problems using specialized tools and testing equipment. Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code (NEC). Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure electrical systems are safe and functioning efficiently. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals on job sites. Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Document actions, testing results, and repairs.
