Role Description - This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune & Mumbai for the position of Assistant General Manager (AGM). The Bank seeks professionals specialising in Credit, Treasury, Legal & Audit portfolios. The role involves overseeing daily operations, formulating strategic plans, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. The AGM will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing customer services, and developing policies to improve operational efficiency and growth. The candidate will work closely with senior management to drive initiatives that align with the bank's mission and goals. Qualifications - Candidate should have full time Master’s degree in any field from any recognized University or should have professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) degree. Candidates should be qualified with DBF / JAIIB / CAIIB examination. For candidates working with the Co-operative Bank, minimum experience of 15 Yrs required in related field , out of which minimum 5 yrs on the post of Branch Manager or onward cadre. For candidates working with Nationalised or Private Bank minimum 3 Yrs of experience in related field, on the post of Chief Manager or onward cadre. Strong leadership and managerial skills Experience in strategic planning and policy formulation Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Good understanding of customer service principles Proficiency in using banking technology and core banking systems.
