As a Logistics Manager at Jaguar Steel & Coal Pte. Ltd., your primary responsibility will be to oversee end-to-end logistics operations, with a specific focus on ocean logistics, freight forwarders, and CHA coordination. With our company being a leading global supplier of steel scrap operating in 70+ countries, your role will play a crucial part in maintaining our monthly handling capacity of 50,000-60,000 MT. You will be tasked with managing all aspects of shipment operations, working closely with shipping lines, CHAs, and freight forwarders. Your duties will include issuing and coordinating MBL/HBL, ensuring timely BL release, handling container bookings, loading plans, and overseeing global shipment documentation such as AMS, ISF, ACI, and AFR. Additionally, you will be expected to liaise with overseas agents, transporters, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth clearance and delivery processes. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (Masters preferred) and have at least 7 years of experience in logistics, with a strong background in CHA, freight forwarding, and ocean logistics. A deep understanding of international shipping processes and customs regulations is essential, along with exceptional organizational, analytical, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with logistics tools will be beneficial. As a key member of our team, you will lead and mentor the logistics team to ensure operational excellence, driving efficiency and compliance across all logistics operations.
