E&I Engineer Bauxite Handling System / Material Handling System (MHS) Job Title: E&I Engineer Bauxite Handling System / Material Handling System (MHS) Location: [Odisha] Experience: 6 to 8 Years Qualification: B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced E&I Engineer to oversee the Electrical & Instrumentation operations and maintenance activities for our Bauxite Handling System / Material Handling System (MHS) . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling electrical systems, PLC/SCADA-based control systems, field instrumentation, and preventive maintenance of equipment in an industrial setup, preferably in the aluminium or mining sector. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and execute all E&I maintenance and troubleshooting activities for Bauxite Handling / MHS. Ensure smooth operation of electrical panels, MCCs, VFDs, and field instruments. Hands-on knowledge of PLC/DCS/SCADA systems, sensor calibration, and control loop tuning. Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. Coordinate with mechanical and operations teams for shutdown and breakdown maintenance. Maintain inventory of critical E&I spares and initiate procurement as required. Prepare daily and monthly maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and RCA. Ensure compliance with all safety and statutory requirements. Guide and supervise a team of technicians and contractors. Liaise with OEMs and service providers for major repairs and upgrades. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of HT/LT Electrical systems, Drives (ABB/Siemens preferred), and switchgear. Experience in Instrumentation like load cells, belt weigher, proximity sensors, encoders, limit switches, etc. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and team coordination abilities. Preferred Industry: Mining, Metals, Aluminium, Cement, Power, or any heavy engineering sector with bulk material handling systems.
