Role & responsibilities • Systematic and scientific approach towards project targets. Conduct routine lab activities to identify and develop green routes to material synthesis. Perform polymer/material analysis, interpret results & document the information in reports/presentation. Engage in product scale-up in lab; ready to travel to manufacturing sites to enable technology transfer. Well-informed with newer developments in green coatings especially, industry trends and innovative technologies. Raw material procurement and maintain lab inventory. Maintain the inventory and remain 100% EHS compliant. Passionate, motivated individual with minimal supervision. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications : MSc Chemistry (Organic/ Physical/ Polymer/ Material Science) or MTech with related experience (Paper and pulp) Work Experience : • 0-5 years of synthetic experience in material synthesis (organic/inorganic/hybrids /polymerization). Process optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer is considered an advantage. Ability to read, identify through literature and design parameters, i.e., factorial design, DOE. Skills : • Understanding of polymer/organic/physical chemistry & related reactions. Experience in emulsion polymerization, encapsulation, surfactant chemistry, silicone chemistry and formulation development. Excellent communication and presentation Knowledge : Biopolymers/Polymer/Silicone/Surfactant Chemistry, Microemulsions, Formulations, Material Characterization and analysis; handling of chemicals
